The "Gartner" is one of the leading and most influential gourmet destinations in South Tyrol. Headed by Daniel Niedermair, the young team surprises hotel guests with its innovative and extremely meticulous cuisine.
Our chef's resume couldn't be more impressive and exciting. Head of the gourmet kitchen at Gerhard Wieser's 2 Michelin-starred Trenkerstube restaurant at the 5-star Hotel Castel in Tirolo, Head Chef at the 5-star Hotel Preidlhof in Naturno, Chef de Partie at the 1 Michelin-starred Cecconi's Restaurant in Melbourne, Chef de Partie at Norbert Niederkofler's 3 Michelin-starred St. Hubertus Restaurant, stints in London and Rome, and so on...
Daniel Niedermair can already look back on an incredible career. Hungry for success, creative, and highly talented, his love of cooking has taken him far and wide. Always searching for the ultimate dish, the most beautiful plate, the tastiest cuisine, he’s now in his third season at Gartner.
Our guests dine either in the conservatory restaurant "The View," in the dining room "The Taste," or in "The Stube." At lunchtime, guests can chill out on the wooden lounge terrace, enjoying easy bistro dishes. The terrace becomes a popular hangout for aperitifs ("Bollicine & Bruschette" with junior manager Greta) and after dinner with cool cocktails from our bar manager Misko.
